Build Core Strength and More with Dahn Yoga’s Exercises!

Whether you consider yourself a seasoned yogi or a beginner trying yoga for the first time, Dahn Yoga offers a non-traditional approach to yoga in its classes. Some postures may seem familiar yet some might seem very peculiar. However, all elements of Dahn Yoga are carefully designed to create energy balance, a condition known as “water up, fire down.” To achieve this, most exercises relieve tension and build strength in the core.

Whether you are stretching your arms, tapping your lower abdomen or rolling on your back, the combination of these exercises produce a warm lower abdomen and cool head. These are also indicators of a stronger, more flexible core and results in deeper breathing, firmer posture and greater flexibility. One quick way to get to this state is through an exercise we call the “Monkey Posture.” After just 3 minutes, you will notice a difference. Find out more about the “Monkey Posture” in this article.

    Relieve Stress with Wooden Pillow - Open Class

    Venue : Dahn Yoga nomal Center
    All classes on Monday: 9am, 12pm & 7:30pm . The Wooden Pillow is a helpful tool to relieve tension in the body, and it allows for the skeletal structure to come back into alignment. During the wooden pillow class, members experience several techniques with detailed directions from the instructor, so they can later use the Wooden Pillow on their own. The classes are relaxing but also joyful and energizing. IF YOU HAVE A WOODEN PILLOW PLEASE BRING, BUT WE HAVE PILLOWS TO BORROW OR BUY. Through this workshop, you will regain self-confidence, eliminate negative habits, and achieve more harmonious relationships by developing a deeper understanding of yourself and the people closest to you.
