Did You Know That Someone Else’s Stress Can Be Bad for Your Health? Your health is affected by stress. This is not news. But did you know that your health is also affected by other people’s stress? Yes, there is such a thing as “Second-Hand Stress.” Don’t worry, Dahn Yoga can help! The concept of Second-Hand Stress is not so surprising when you experience Dahn Yoga and learn its energy principles. “Energy” is everywhere; it is in everything and everyone. There is a level of connection, where people or things can influence each other. The nature of energy is movement, so keeping energy flowing is the way to keep the connections healthy. First, yoga classes help you learn to accept and work with the energy connection between your mind and body. This leads to awareness that will allow you to change your physical and mental reactions to people and situations you encounter. We call this “managing” energy. Want to learn more?
