Healing Diverticulitis

I've told this amazing story to everyone who will listen. But I want to keep sharing so others know that it is possible to learn how to heal ourselves. Within a couple months of joining I realized that I hadn't had an episode of diverticulitis since joining. It had completely disappeared. I have only had two episodes in 6 years now, where I used to have several a year. I had been told by MDs that removing part of my colon was my only option. Lots of other aches and pains in by body have improved and healed since starting Dahn training. I have learned to feel and channel Ki (Chi) energy for the benefit of myself and others. The staff is very encouraging and knowledgeable, with well-organized methods of teaching and guiding. I have individual review session with the trainer as part of my membership. Reducing my medications

I have been practicing three days a week at the Kaimuki Dahn Yoga center for five months. My initial goal was to improve my flexibility and balance. I'm very satisfied with the progress that I have made and pleasantly surprised at the changes in my health. Recently I had a routine medical exam, my doctor commented at the improvement on various lab tests since my last checkup six months ago. The doctor was able to reduce my medication. I attribute the better lab results to yoga and changes in my diet that I would have never made without yoga. The atmosphere at the yoga center is peaceful and non-threatening. Students are allowed to progress at their own pace and everyone is friendly and helpful.
