Dahn Yoga founder Ilchi Lee taught his holistic methods in a public park for five years before establishing a studio and operating as a business. Inheriting the founder’s commitment to reaching out to the community, Dahn Yoga has been engaged in various community projects.
Dahn Yoga community classes have been made available free of charge or at substantially reduced rates. Currently, these classes are held at locations around the country, including public parks, senior centers, schools, and community centers. These efforts are supported by our Non-profit arm, the Dahn Yoga Foundation.
And yoga is not all that we do; our practice informs our work in the community. You can also find Dahn Yoga practitioners cleaning up parks and beaches or planting trees. We are breathing new life into our ideals by putting them into practice.
The community of Dahn Yoga practitioners also supports the efforts of the International Brain Education Association, which brings holistic education to children around the world.
In addition, Dahn Yoga donates 1 dollar of every new membership to the Earth Citizen Movement and the peace-building activities of New Millennium Peace Foundation.
