My satisfaction with Dahn Yoga

When I joined Dahn Yoga in Scottsdale four months ago and I met Jung, my instructor I was in physical pain and in fear. Since then my physical condition has drastically improved and I have regained confidence.The improvements are such that people notice the change and even congratulate me for a radiant look. Every day Dahn Yoga is a challenge for me it's hard work . Thanks to Jung, my instructor, I will reach my goals.

Finding breath

My life before yoga was needless to say quite stressful. Having just graduated college, being unsuccessful in my job search and dealing with home life, I decided I would work out to cope with the stress but something was still missing. I stumbled across Dahn Yoga in Kipling and I thought "why not?" Finding that I loved yoga and the breath brought calness to my otherwise turbulent life. I started to go to any and all yoga places I could find. It wasn't until recently that I found Dahn Yoga. It has given me not only the deep stretches I crave, but the power to love myself so I can love others the same. My shoulders are relaxed, my heart is open and my mind is engaged.

Increased Flexibility and Relaxation

I feel really good. I am also happier and more relaxed. I have more confidence about improving my health and body condition. I didn't think I could improve my flexibility at my age. I recently did a 21-day private training and was so impressed how much flexible I am now. I can touch my palms and don't feel the pinching pain in my back when I stretch.

Shim Sung transformation

My wife died of cancer at home in January, 2012. I experienced her loss deeply but kept it locked up. I had a responsible job and needed to keep going. Two months later I serendipitously joined the Alexandria Dahn Yoga Center. It proved to be a life altering decision. During early meditation exercises, my suppressed emotions kept surfacing, so I took the Shim Sung training. During that weekend, through the organized program of exercises, I confronted my terrible sense of loss, released the blocked emotions and came to directly experience that the absence of that external source of love could, through new self-knowledge, be transformed into a remarkable personal gain. I was completely surprised by the transformation. My love for her is no less strong, it’s now mine to take forward into what I feel is now a bright and exciting future. Thank you for the Shim Sung Workshop. I mean it.

No more stress!

I've been coming to Dahn Yoga for almost two weeks now and I have felt such a transition in my body and life in this short amount of time. I have more energy, my mind is more focused and my body is more free. I'm a student at ASU and have been struggling with stress over the years but since starting Dahn Yoga, I have felt NO stress, which is monumental for me considering my past relationship with stress! I'm able to balance my life better and complete my task without hindrance. Just last week, I had to write a paper. Normally I would struggle with this type of assignment but this time, when I sat down to write, the words poured out without hesitation. I received excellent feedback from my professor who noticed the difference in my writing as well and I was asked to submit a digital copy to him to be used as an example for other students in the future. I give all the credit of my recent success to Dahn Yoga. It has taught me how to tap into my energy source and let go of my inhibitions.

Finding my way

I started at Dahn Yoga at the Burke location three months ago and this short time has made a huge difference in my life physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I am more able to manage my stress and anxiety, and I am really starting to see a clearer path for myself. I feel more positive and optimistic than ever about my life and am very excited about all of the possibilities in front of me. I am also learning to create more meaningful experiences that have a positive impact not only for myself, but for my family and community. Also, I had knee surgery 8 months ago and until I started attending classes, my knee was very stiff and painful. Now I am almost at 100% with flexibility and strength. My nearly 5 years at Dahn Yoga

have been practicing Dahn Yoga at the Cherry Creek location for 4 years and 9 months. The practices and principles about energy they teach have helped me heal some very serious health problems I have due to having an autoimmune disorder called Celiac. I was so ill that I wanted to die, but after doing some of the practices I was assigned and receiving private sessions from the senior instructor at the center, I have been able to gain strength again. The practices helped me realize that I am not my body, but my body is mine. My emotions are not me, they are mine. This practice helped me learn to love myself and to radically accept my condition but at the same time overcome many limitations. I hope you will consider joining one of the best places in Denver to heal yourself!

Lots of medicines were reduced

I've been suffering from Diabetes, high blood pressure, and stroke. So I have been going to gym everyday for 11 years. However, it didn't make much change. My wife suggested that I practice Dahn Yoga and found out that I had a lot of tensions all around in the body. Since I have been practicing Dahn Yoga at the Schaumburg Body n Brain Center. I have changed my eating habits and also tried to manage my mind at the same time. Now my medicines have been reduced so much that my diabetic medicine has gone down from 2000mg to 250mg. My high blood pressure has gone down from 10mg to 5mg. My cholesterol medicine has gone down from 20mg to 10mg. I am hopeful as well that I will get even more better. My legs went limp since I was diagnosed for Stroke but my legs have recovered almost completely. Thank you so much for the Dahn Yoga offered at Body n Brain.

Miracle Healing of the Neck!

I have had severe neck stiffness and pain for the last two months which didn't allow me to even turn my head to the side. I thought I needed a deep tissue massage or some other kind of corrective treatment, but a miracle happened. After attending the Life Particle Workshop with Nicholas in March my neck pain disappeared! Immediately afterwards I was able to move my neck around freely without pain or stiffness. Thanks Nicholas, and thanks to CGI for the amazing and wonderful things you offer.
