On October 28th in the grant park on a beautiful sunny day,
about 150 members, parents, teachers and children participated
in the HSP Walk to celebrate the creation of Ilchi Lee day*
in Atlanta.
The event began with a percussion performance
from students of The Children’s School which had the BE
teachers workshop**, and was then followed by a Dahn Mu Do
martial arts demonstration by Dahn Yoga children and adults.
Heart of Hope Academy, an Atlanta-based school for children
with special needs, will be the recipient of money raised
through the HSP Walk.
The HSP Walk was an interactive experience for all participants.
It incorporated Health, longevity walking to develop physical
power, Smile, happiness and laughing to find emotional serenity,
and Peace, a chance to connect with nature to find peace within.
Participants had fun learning how easily they can incorporate HSP in
daily life. We are excited to make an impact in the community.
The ability to share peace and happiness with others is a basic human
quality, and we are grateful for the opportunity to do so. Thank you to
all those who supported the HSP Walk –each contribution, whether
time or money, great or small, made a difference!
Through these activities, the event was a beautiful opportunity for family
and friends to reconnect and deeply appreciate one another.
