BEST 5, (Brain Education System Training), is the scientific foundation of Dahn Yoga that has been developed by Ilchi Lee, the President of IBREA the Internation Brain Education Association and KIBS the Korean Institute of Brain Science. BMT Presentation is taught by Master Young Lim Lee, the manager of the Libertyville Dahn Center. Master Lee is also a PhD. Yale trained neuroscientist, who has given up the world of science and research to teach BEST 5 and Dahn Yoga methods. She had worked specifically with mood disorders such as anxiety and depression and saw firsthand the profound limitations that medication has on fully treating these conditions. Brain Management Training or BMT is one of the most powerful and comprehensive Instructor Level trainings that Dahn Yoga has to offer. You will learn the 5 Steps of Brain Education and the basis for the success of Dahn Yoga over the last 30 years in reaching and changing hundreds of thousands of people’s lives. Sunday 5/26 9:00AM~6:00PM	Initial Awakening Workshop We all have a lot of habits and emotions. Some of them are known to us and some of them are not. We waste a lot of energy by thinking and worrying about the past and future. This thinking habit is unconscious and non-productive. If we spend a lot of time thinking unconsciously, our physical body senses become overwhelmed and we become numbed to our true circumstance. When our mind is not in the moment, we automatically follow our habits. The purpose of Initial Awakening is to bring our focus to the moment through the core of our body, to increase our awareness and to overcome emotions so that we can use our energy more productively and positively.

healing Timothy O'Malley, Orland Park center, IL: I had suffered from a condition called frozen shoulder for three years. Basically I was told by an orthopedic surgeon that all I could do was wait the 5 to 8 years is takes to go away on its own all medical people could do was make it less painful for me but it would take a long time to get any ability to use my arms. I tried several different cures such as acupunture, whole foods, massage chiropracters, naparapaths, physical therapy and almost opted for Cortizone shots due to the extreme pain. I then was told about Dahn Yoga and went in and talked to the Master who was in Orland Park at that time. She basically told me she could help me, but by this time I was very sceptical because I had heard that from so many others with no results. After just three weeks my arms started to free up and after two months I had 100% range of motion back. Finding Peace within myself Wendy Ball, Orland Park center, IL: I have had many physical and mental obstacles in my life. To mention a couple physical experiences, I broke my back in a car accident awhile ago, and I also recently had two surgeries for thyroid cancer, and am still under treatment. I began Dahn Yoga in September 2011. It is now November 2011. I have already taken the Shim Sung Workshop and Dotong Training Workshop. I believe everyone would benefit from taking both of these training classes. People around me have noticed a difference in my outlook and how I interface with people.
