    Seattle Earth Citizen Walk 2014

    Venue : Dahn Yoga nomal Center
    In an unprecedented event to raise awareness of healthier living on Earth, the Earth Citizen Organization is holding the Earth Citizen Walk at Ravenna Park on April 27, 2014 from 1 to 4pm. This grassroots movement started by Ilchi Lee, founder of Brain Education and Dahn Yoga, unites human beings under one common identity. "We must regard ourselves as earth citizens and hold that affiliation above any identification with nationality, race or religion,” said Ilchi Lee. In our current situation, 29,000 children die each day from hunger and easily preventable diseases. 18 million people die every year due to poverty related causes. We are polluting the air we breathe and poisoning the oceans and lands with toxic chemicals, all in our pursuit of man-made values and self-interest. In order to reverse the devastation of this planet we call home, we need to recognize ourselves as Earth Citizen and take actions to make the necessary changes in our lives. To get started, please join us for a fun and educational walk on April 27, 2014 from 1 to 4pm at Ravenna Park. We will have three stations along the walk with physical exercises, energy training and spiritual principles. Registration is $10 per person, free for kids 12 and under. Proceeds from the event will go towards the educational initiatives of the New Millennium Peace Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that oversees the Earth Citizen Movement.
