There is a great difference between practicing regular yoga and practicing Dahn Yoga. In my experience, although not long, traditional yoga classes are generally require a certain level of ability and flexibility for you to be successful. This can be off-putting and frustrating if you do not possess this natural ability.
Dahn Yoga, on the other hand, is not a contest of flexibility. The focus of Dahn Yoga is placed on one's brain. Happiness, peace, spirituality, self-awareness, and physical health, including strength and flexibility, all improve with practice. The difference I have felt within a few short weeks has been wonderful and life-changing, and I look forward to each class.
