Improving my well-being and overall disposition in life

When I decided to start Dahn Yoga, I was really in need of an outlet to divert myself from work. For months, I had found myself filled with anxiety, bitterness, frustration, resentment and self-condemnation. My self-esteem was so low. When things went wrong with friends or at work, I felt totally dejected. All I had in mind at those times was retaliation. With such a negative outlook on life, I found myself failing emotionally, professionally, spiritually, and even socially. Physically, I woke up with a headache every morning, and my shoulders and neck were tight from stress and tension. With that kind of feeling I was dragging myself to work every morning.
After my initial consultation, I started attending class regularly. Class helped me to start to improve my personal well-being and even my general disposition in life. I found myself becoming more tolerant and patient in dealing with my boss and colleagues. I became more understanding and compassionate when dealing with my and others' weaknesses and failures. The way I handle stress also started to improve, and I became more relaxed and peaceful. Mentally, my mind is now much clearer, and I have fewer distracting thoughts. And physically, I now have less pain in my body.
In just a short a time, I've seen such significant changes in my life that I can clearly see what we do in class is not just physical exercise; it is a means to help myself become a better person. Little by little I feel I am starting to have a new awareness of and perspective on life. Dahn Yoga and Choi have helped me improve my life. Thank you, Choi, for patiently and tirelessly helping me improve my well-being.
