Karen's journey down rocky roads and the way Dahn Yoga impacted her! - Karen Fox
My name is Karen Beth Fox and I joined Dahn Yoga as a GOLD member in July 2007,a year after my mother passed away from Lung cancer, which was quite devistating for me!
I took care of my mother back then and I became quite large while taking care
of mom, as you can see in this picture of me! I battled weight problems all
my life, but NEVER as bad as when my best friend, MY MOM, became terminal! As
I'm guessing most of you know, weighing a lot makes you ill and have many health
problems, as I did, including a right hip replacement & brest cancer, but none of that stopped anything or anybody, like me & my MOM---who means the world to ME! After loosing the battle,my family & I lost my MOM to the horrible LUNG cancer that took her! It was awful! But, what I did gain was the opportunity to look up one day as I was making a deposit in the drive-thru at the bank, I noticed this place called Dahn Yoga. I saw Dahn Yoga over & over every time I went to this certain bank! Well, I just HAD to go in & check it out!!!! That's just how I am, YOU know. I am SURE YOU UNDERSTAND!!! I BET YOU ARE THAT WAY,AREN'T YOU? Well, anyway, I walked in the next day and filled out some paperwork because the people were mysteriously behind closed doors and I HAD to find out just WHAT they were doing! WELL, I came back later to see! That what it! I had done Yoga before, but NOT like THIS!!! This was different!!!! This Yoga was about balance, and they kept talking about a thing called donjon, I mean.....what is that?
Well folks, I found out that day and I have NEVER looked back! Thank Goodness!
I also just returned from Brain Management Consultant Class Yesterday and couldn't
be happier! I am more educated and ready for the world, and now I can teach classes
to my Aunt in the (assisted -living) home she lives in! I also got to meet
ILCHI LEE, my dream of my life! He is so intelligent! I was so pleased! He gave
everyone a wonderful gift he made himself, he is the most special human I have
ever met in my life! I am blessed!
I now want to become a Master Healer and most likely take Tao! this program is amazing!
