Restore Your Personal Connection with Earth
Earth Day, celebrated every April to establish our commitment to service and appreciation for our earth, has a greater meaning beyond the commonly ascribed environmental concerns. Even though Earth Day has been around for over forty years, the Earth is still in danger, and it is perhaps because we have been treating our Earth as an "environment" or a kind of landscape which surrounds us, rather than as a single living organism which we are dependent on and is dependent on us. When this awareness occurs through our whole being, we do not need to be told to know that the Earth is ailing; we will be able to feel it when we restore our ability to sense Ki or life energy—just like how mothers know why their babies cry.

The Three Studies of the Soul
Is there a way to open our soul and release its energy into our everyday lives? Through the three studies of principle, practice and living, you can indeed accomplish the growth of the soul. The Study of Principle is about awakening to the action of invisible life energy in nature and the cosmos and then realizing that the principles governing this energy apply not only to nature but also to human life. Through the Study of Practice, you experience the principles through the body and strengthen your inner world through the power of persistent devotion toward yourself. In the third study, the Study of Living, you manifest your awakening in every aspect of your life. Getting up early in the morning or the gift of a smile to another person are little things that are important parts of this last study. Read more about how the seed of the soul can grow, flower and bear fruit in our everyday lives.
