Meridians Unveiled by Science
Meridians, or energy channels, are part of the foundation of Eastern medicine and, although they are invisible, it has been established theory thus far to believe in their existence. But what if it were possible to see such energy channels?
A significant shift in meridian research occurred in 2008 when Dr. Soh Gwangsuh and his associate researchers at Seoul University in South Korea began to target only the meridians in organisms with "Trypan blue dye."
Since the delicacy and transparency of meridians are difficult to confirm without dyeing, this technique demonstrated their transparency as well as their thickness, which is about the same as a hair strand. Inside, liquid flows very slowly, much slower than lymphatic fluid and even more so than blood.
Modern medicine had previously thought there were only two types of pathways by which cancer could spread--the blood vessels and lymphatic vessels. With the official recognition of the existence of meridians, a third vascular system will be unveiled and, in a sense, a third metastatic route will have been found.
