Brain Education Brings Hope to the Philippines

December 4th, 2011

IBREA’s 2nd outreach to educators in developing countries

Through Brain Education, IBREA (International Brain Education Association) strives to bring hope to vulnerable communities in developing countries. By helping participants to reconnect with their true nature, IBREA has found that people start to recover their self-confidence, remember goals and dreams and then, most importantly, begin to work toward them.

In spite of its short history, IBREA has already presented its second outreach, this time to nineteen educators from the Philippines. Each received their Basic Certificate after a three-day workshop.

Their testimonies consistently echoed the core message of Brain Education and IBREA’s global vision. An elementary school guidance counselor, Fe Lorna, said, “There is no impossible task if one is really determined to do it.” A religious teacher, Jovie, shared that, “The biggest learning I had from the workshop is that we all want body and brain integration. Collectively, we can work together to have peace for humanity and the earth, regardless of gender, race, religion or orientation. Our brains can really create something great together.” Another participant realized, “If each individual is aware of his/her potential in making and creating a harmonious culture, there would be fewer problems in the world.”

Next year, IBREA plans to expand its action in El Salvador and the Philippines and start new projects in Liberia and Panama. Please contribute to this cause by making a donation or by joining as volunteers in the field. IBREA will provide the World Youth Leadership program in January for young people who want to become IBREA foreign project interns. For more details, you can visit www.ibrea.org.
