What does your brain have to do with Dahn Yoga? Everything. Dahn Yoga practice leads to the HSP phenomenon or health, happiness (smile)and peace by creating changes in the brain through mindful focus on movement, and feeling the body and breath.  HSP creates the perfect environment for us to experience positive changes in our lives.   So why then though we seem healthy, happy and peaceful do we so often fall short of the goals we set for ourselves?

One reason is that deep inside our brains there are thoughts and emotions that get in the way.  To overcome these obstacles Dahn Yoga emphasizes the principles of the Brain Operating System (“BOS”), developed by Dahn Yoga founder, Ilchi Lee.

BOS has three empowering principles that can help you bring what you desire into reality.

1: “If you choose it, you can create it.” So, choose what you desire with 100% determination and belief in yourself. 
2: “Good news makes a good brain.” Your brain works best with positive information rather than the self limiting information from the past
3: “Pay attention!” Wake up and pay attention to the gifts of each and every moment and watch what you think, say and do

At first glance, BOS seems like a recipe for extreme positivity. Maybe it is, but it’s more than wishful thinking. The principles are about how managing your thoughts helps you to react to real life situations by taking positive and determined actions that are in alignment with your goals. How you think about your life has a strong effect on your actions. Your actions lead to the results that you see in your life. So, the best way to change results, is to change your thinking.

BOS is an excellent way to make this change. For some people, choosing to practice yoga and meditation is the first step in a natural progression toward positive thinking and calmer reactions as the body lets go of unnecessary tension. The BOS principles can help you become less passive and more proactive in creating the life you truly want through ACTION!

    We will have a table at the Wellness Day. Come and experience Energy Aura Reading and Chair Massage. We will capture a color picture of your energy profile through a very special biofeedback machine called an Auracom. Through this image we can get an idea of your energy levels, balance, and even some personality traits that contribute to the makeup your energetic condition. Then we can make recommendations for your unique energy condition. Be sure to have your cell phone ready so you can save a picture of your Aura.
